Android closed test

Help test LateBite Pause on Android.

Try the current closed Alpha on an Android 12+ phone and tell us if the setup and pause flow feel clear.

Current Alpha: Android 12 or newer. Join the tester group first; Google Play only opens the closed test to group members.

What it does

A small pause at the risky moment.

LateBite Pause is for selected food-delivery apps only. It adds a pause and simple support before the usual delivery-order loop gets moving.

  • Pause before selected food-delivery apps
  • Use chosen risk windows
  • Try a simple Replacement Plan
  • Choose: Resist now, Decide later, or Continue after pause

What to test

A practical first pass is enough.

No formal QA background is needed. The useful signal is whether the core flow feels clear and works on real Android 12+ phones.

  • Install the app from Google Play.
  • Complete onboarding and enable Accessibility when asked.
  • Select a food-delivery app and risk window.
  • Open the selected delivery app and check whether the pause appears.
  • Try Resist now, Decide later, and Continue after pause.
  • Send feedback only if something is confusing, broken, or too heavy-handed.

Optional feedback

No formal report is required.

Even installing the app and trying the flow helps. If you do want to send a note, a short plain email is perfect.

Email feedback

Privacy boundary

No carts. No checkout. No private app content.

LateBite Pause uses selected-app opening and your saved rules to show the pause. It does not read carts, checkout, menus, order details, payment details, messages, or private delivery-app content, and it does not tap or act for you.

Quick answers

Alpha test FAQ.

Do I need to use real food-delivery apps?

Use any food-delivery app you already have installed, or just test the setup flow if you are not comfortable opening one.

Why does it ask for Accessibility?

Android uses Accessibility so LateBite Pause can notice selected delivery-app opens during your risk window and show the pause. It does not read carts, checkout, orders, payment details, messages, menus, or private app content, and it does not tap for you.

What Android version do I need?

The current closed Alpha test scope is Android 12 or newer (minSdk 31).

Do I have to send feedback?

No. Even installing and trying the flow helps. Feedback is optional.

Is this a diet or calorie app?

No. It is about adding a pause before automatic delivery ordering, not tracking food, calories, weight, or body goals.

What if the Google Play link does not work?

Make sure you joined the Google Group first, then open the Google Play test link with the same Google account.
