1. What LateBite Pause does
LateBite Pause helps you create a short off-ramp before a food-delivery order you may later regret.
The app can help you:
- choose food-delivery apps you want to protect;
- set risk windows when protection should be active;
- create a Replacement Plan;
- show a pause screen when a selected delivery app is opened during an active risk window;
- choose an outcome such as Resist now, Decide later, or Continue after pause;
- optionally review pause moments in History.
LateBite Pause is not a food-delivery service, diet app, medical app, therapy service, parental-control app, surveillance tool, or generic phone blocker.
2. Accessibility permission
LateBite Pause uses Android Accessibility permission for a narrow purpose: to detect when selected food-delivery apps are opened and to show the LateBite Pause screen during your chosen risk windows.
LateBite Pause does not use Accessibility to:
- read carts;
- read checkout screens;
- read payment details;
- read menus;
- read order details or order history;
- read messages;
- read private content inside other apps;
- click buttons or take actions inside delivery apps for you.
You control which apps are selected for protection.
3. Information we may process
Depending on how you use the app, LateBite Pause may process the following information.
App settings and protection data
This may include:
- selected food-delivery apps;
- risk-window settings;
- protection and permission status;
- Replacement Plan content;
- optional cue tags or reason chips;
- pause moments;
- pause outcomes;
- optional History review details;
- optional estimated amount entered by you.
This information is used to provide the app's core pause, History, review, and recovery features.
Account information
Some parts of LateBite Pause may be available without sign-in during the current trial or local setup flow. Sign-in may be required for account, Premium, restore, Buddy, deletion, or account-backed features where available.
If you choose to sign in, LateBite Pause may process account information provided through Google Sign-In, such as your Google account identifier, email address, and name or display name where Google provides it. This is used for account access, showing your own Account identity, Premium activation, restore, account deletion, and account-backed features where available.
Where available, your Google display name may also be used as an editable prefill or suggestion for your Buddy-facing display name. LateBite Pause does not import, fetch, store, or display Google profile photos.
Subscription and entitlement information
If you buy or restore Premium, purchases are handled through Google Play and RevenueCat.
LateBite Pause may process subscription-related information such as:
- subscription status;
- entitlement status;
- product identifier;
- purchase or transaction identifiers needed to confirm Premium;
- RevenueCat app user identifier;
- backend account entitlement state.
LateBite Pause does not receive your full payment card details. Payment processing is handled by Google Play.
Technical and support information
If you contact us for support, we may process the information you send, such as your email address, message content, screenshots you choose to provide, and diagnostic context needed to respond.
Our backend and hosting providers may process standard technical information needed to operate the service, such as request time, endpoint, error information, and IP address in server logs.
In Play builds that include Firebase Crashlytics, crash and ANR diagnostics may be collected to detect and fix app stability problems. LateBite Pause uses Crashlytics for stability diagnostics, not product analytics.
Website information
The LateBite Pause website is a static website hosted through Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process technical information needed to deliver and secure the website. If Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled, it may provide basic aggregated website analytics.
The website currently does not include forms.
4. Information we do not collect from delivery apps
LateBite Pause does not collect or read:
- cart contents;
- checkout contents;
- payment details;
- restaurant menus;
- order details;
- order history;
- delivery-app messages;
- private content inside delivery apps;
- a full list of installed apps.
LateBite Pause is designed to work around selected app-open moments, not to inspect what you do inside another app.
5. How we use information
We use information to:
- provide the pause and Replacement Plan features;
- show protection status;
- save your selected settings;
- show History and optional review information;
- support Premium subscription access;
- operate account sign-in and account deletion;
- respond to support requests;
- maintain app reliability and security;
- comply with platform, legal, and safety requirements.
We do not use your information for advertising.
6. Sharing with service providers
We may use service providers to operate the app and website. These may include:
- Google services for Google Sign-In, Google Play, and Android platform functionality;
- Firebase Crashlytics for crash and ANR stability diagnostics where included in a shipped build;
- RevenueCat for subscription lifecycle and entitlement support;
- backend hosting and database providers for account-backed app services;
- Cloudflare for website hosting and delivery;
- email/support services if you contact us.
We do not sell personal data.
We do not share your private app content, carts, checkout details, payment card details, order details, or messages because LateBite Pause does not collect them.
7. Local data and signed-in data
Some LateBite Pause data may be stored locally on your device.
If you sign in or use account-backed features, some data may be sent to LateBite Pause backend services where needed for account, Premium, deletion, backup, sync, or continuity features. Features that are not account-backed may remain local-only.
LateBite Pause should not be understood as guaranteeing that all History or insights are synced across devices unless a specific sync feature says so in the app.
8. Data retention and deletion
We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required for legal, security, billing, or operational reasons.
You may request deletion by contacting [email protected].
If you have a LateBite Pause account, the app may also provide an in-app account deletion option. Deleting a LateBite Pause account deletes account-related LateBite Pause data where supported, but it does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Subscriptions must be managed through Google Play.
Some limited information may remain for a period in backups, logs, fraud-prevention records, billing records, or legal records where necessary.
9. Children
LateBite Pause is not intended for children under 13. The app is designed for self-directed users who choose to manage their own food-delivery app behavior.

10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information processed by LateBite Pause.
No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure. We work to limit the information we collect and avoid collecting sensitive delivery-app content that the app does not need.
11. Your choices
You can:
- choose which delivery apps are protected;
- change or remove risk windows;
- edit or clear Replacement Plan content;
- choose whether to add optional review information;
- use available local or trial features without mandatory sign-in where the app supports that;
- delete your account where supported;
- contact us to request access, correction, or deletion.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as LateBite Pause changes. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, provide notice in the app or on the website.
