1. What LateBite Pause is
LateBite Pause is an Android app for selected food-delivery apps and risk windows that you choose. It adds a pause, friction, and support around selected delivery-app opens so you have a clearer moment before the usual order flow continues.
The core pause choices are Resist now, Decide later, and Continue after pause. Replacement Plan is the main support layer. Buddy Support, where available, can add help from a trusted person inside the Continue after pause path.
LateBite Pause is not a food-delivery service, medical product, therapy service, diet product, parental-control app, surveillance tool, or generic phone blocker.
2. Your responsibility and product limits
LateBite Pause supports your own decisions. It does not make food, health, financial, or safety decisions for you, and it does not guarantee that you will resist, delay, or change any order.
Android behavior can vary by device, permission state, battery rules, app updates, and system settings. LateBite Pause may explain when protection is ready, limited, or needs review, but it cannot promise that every selected app open will be paused in every situation.
3. Android Accessibility boundary
LateBite Pause uses Android Accessibility permission for a narrow purpose: to detect selected delivery-app opens during your active risk windows and show the LateBite Pause screen.
LateBite Pause does not use Accessibility to read carts, checkout screens, payment details, menus, order details, past orders, messages, or private content inside delivery apps. It also does not click buttons, place orders, cancel orders, or take actions inside delivery apps for you.
4. Account and Buddy Support
Some features may require sign-in, such as Premium activation, restore, account deletion, or account-backed Buddy Support. You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure.
If you use Buddy Support, choose someone you trust. A Buddy may see your Buddy-facing display name and account photo or avatar if you choose to add one. Buddies do not see carts, orders, payment details, messages, Stats, notes, or private delivery-app content.
5. Premium subscription terms
Premium features may be offered through a paid subscription handled by Google Play. The current price, billing period, trial or free access period where available, renewal terms, and cancellation options are shown in Google Play or in the app before you subscribe.
You can manage or cancel a Google Play subscription through your Google Play account settings. Deleting your LateBite Pause account does not cancel a Google Play subscription.
Billing, renewals, cancellation, and refund handling are managed by Google Play under Google Play policies.
6. Account deletion
You can read the current account deletion instructions at latebitepause.com/account-deletion. Account deletion removes account-related LateBite Pause data where supported, but some limited information may remain where needed for logs, backups, billing records, security, or legal reasons as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Support communications
If you contact support, send only what is needed to understand the question. Do not send private delivery-app content, carts, checkout screens, payment details, order details, past orders, messages, or screenshots with sensitive personal information.
8. Acceptable use
Use LateBite Pause lawfully and only for its intended consumer purpose. Do not misuse the app, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer service components, or use support channels to send harmful or unlawful material.
9. Intellectual property
LateBite Pause, its website, app design, text, branding, and related materials are owned by LateBite Pause or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of those materials to you.
10. Service changes and availability
We may update, improve, pause, or discontinue features over time. We may also need to change features to meet platform requirements, security needs, provider requirements, or product quality standards.
11. Privacy
The Privacy Policy explains what LateBite Pause may process, what it does not collect from delivery apps, and how to contact us about privacy or deletion questions.
12. Disclaimers and liability
LateBite Pause is provided as a practical support tool. To the extent allowed by law, it is provided without warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for every device or situation.
To the extent allowed by law, LateBite Pause is not responsible for decisions you make in delivery apps, charges from delivery services, Android or Google Play issues, or outcomes outside the app's own service.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as LateBite Pause changes. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, provide notice in the app or on the website.
